Writing for Success: Beginning Level 1, Sentence Power is a 65-lesson language skill development and homework program that is specially designed for students in grades 4-5 or for writers of any age who have not mastered the basics of the parts of speech and sentence writing.

The goals of Sentence Power include providing students with materials that will assist them in becoming more effective learners in a classroom environment; providing students with sentence writing skills from simple to complex; and forming a home-school partnership through home support of the classroom programs. To effectively accomplish the program goals, this program has a consistent lesson procedure which includes a daily homework check, modeling and guided practice of new skills, explanation of tasks to be completed for homework, as well as a Bonus Box.

The Answer Key comes in the same format as the student materials complete with answers--coil-bound for ease of use.
